Rare, cool and unusual tramp art dog bed with chip carved decoration and blue and silver paint. The head board wonderfully carved with rosettes, diamonds and a large star in center. The foot board with a large diamond in center surrounded buy rosettes, also two painted silver winged magical ducks facing a nest full of eggs. The side rails and legs also painted in naive folk art style. This bed is extremely charming, a unique piece for that very special dog in your life. Or just as a compelling work of art on it’s own. Comes with a custom mattress, in used condition. Circa 1900. USA.
