Description
Stacking Merpeople is what the title implies. This is an interactive set of 4 figures, which can be reassembled and balanced in so many ways. From playful to sensual, each figure can be upside down, right side up, maybe even cantilevered, to suggest frolicking underwater. The larger more upright figure seems to be the best base, but that is variable as well. Because this set is so changeable, the full size of the grouping is always different. Each figure is bandsaw cut from sturdy poplar. The painting is done with a combination of latex enamel and acrylics.
